Import the dxf file to Autocad: ‚Autocad>Import DXF>Import > Import DXF (AutoCAD)‘

After importing the file, save it into the folder where you keep the original AutoCAD DWG file and then save it into the default location of the software.
When the open the file, a dialogue box will open with the following message: „A file saved as Autocad DWG was found in the same folder as your AutoCAD DWG file. Do you want to open this file?“.
If you click on OK the dwg file will be opened automatically. If you click on Cancel the dwg file will be closed without opening.
NOTE: The dwg file that was opened will have all changes that have been done in AutoCAD.
