MORK VST is composed of 2 oscillators, one of which can be detuned by using the detune-knob. Every oscillator can be doubled (per input) and can be trippled (per output) by using the octave-knob. Each oscillator can be delayed by using the 4 sliders. The delays can each be mixed by using the octave-knob.
The oscillators can be mixed with each other by using the detune-knob. A mix ratio of 100%-50%-25%-5%-25%-50%-100%= results in a pure oscillator, inbetween a mix ratio of 0-100%-0%-100%-100%-0%= results in an oscillator with a 500ms delay.
Each oscillator can be passed through a low-pass filter by using the filter-knob. The cutoff-frequency can be tuned by using the cutoff-knob. The high-pass can also be adjusted by using the high-pass knobs. The low-pass and high-pass-frequency can also be scaled with the SLOWSLEEP-knob. The high-pass and low-pass-frequency can also be set from 0-8000hz, in steps of 400hz. There is also a medium-pass-frequency, which is a more ‚fuzzy‘ sound.
The delay time can be set by using the attack-knob. The decay-time can be set by using the decay-knob. The sustain-time can be set by using the sustain-knob. The release-knob can effect how quickly the signal falls after the note is played.
The octave-knob can be used to make both oscillator be adjusted so that the frequecy can be varied in octave steps. The octave-knob can also be used to adjust the mixing between each oscillator. The delay times & repeats can also be controlled with the sliders. The sliders can also be used to change the overall delay effect of the oscillators (positive & negative feedback).
The MORK-FX has an envelope & a shape-parameter. In the envelope the intensity-parameter can be set, the speed-parameter can be set to aggressive, regular or half-regular. The release-time-parameter can be set to 0ms, 50ms, 100ms or 200ms. There are also settings to change the sound-compression

„Mork VST is a bass-drone synth that has a sound based on very old technology. It’s directly inspired by the one of the most dirty, dirty hardware synths. I designed MORK with the intention to one day compete with a very huge range of synths like the Roland, Roland SH-01 etc.
The buttons are set to a true analog-sound and are only logical. There aren’t enough controls that change in value per se. Instead the settings affect the output of every parameter in a particular way. This will take some getting used to but it helps the sound to become the way it is and give it an identity.

– The 2 oscillators are denoted „OSC1“ and „OSC2“.
– The selector denoted „MIX“ controls what oscillator is being selected. It can be „OSC1“ or „OSC2“.
– The rotation of the pitch-wheel denoted „DETUNE“ is set via a slider
– The slider-controlled „OCTAVE“ is the pitch of oscillator 2
– The position of the slider-controlled „ATTACK“ is the amount of modulation
– The position of the sliders for „DECAY“ and „SUSTAIN“ has the same effect.
