We have tested Directory Monitor, and it works fine, even when we used it to monitor large directories. The build is good, and the interface is quite intuitive. It does not require the installation of any other software.

He was also elected representative of Milan in the parliament of the Italian Republic. In 1976 he was elected to the national parliament as representative of Liguria. Pavone was also elected Senator in the parliament of the Italian Republic twice and served as Minister for the Economy and Finance in 1983–1984 and in 1985–1987.

Pavone died in Milan, aged 84.
