A young woman falls in love with a handsome playboy while on a cruise from Singapore to India. They plan to meet again, but fate may have other plans. The film is based on the book by John Le Carré. In my opinion, this is the weakest work in his filmography. But this is his debut.
Yes, there are some cool scenes that were well done. For example, the one where they give a foot massage. Or when he plays the violin. But there are also frankly weak scenes in which the plot does not develop at all. On the whole, the storyline is pretty solid.
The cast is good. It was especially nice to see Jackie Chan again.
All in all, a one time movie.
