When I open a printer in the HP Printer assistant, then select „options“ there are no options to scan a document as I have read in several posts. Thank you and thank you for your help.

I am trying to scan documents from the printer on my computer. When I try to do this I am not able to select a scan option (1 and 2) and when I select the ‚Scan to Computer‘ option it does not work.
I am trying to scan documents on my computer from my HP LaserJet P1102W, using a local scanner (My USB fax module does not work). I am trying to scan a PDF of an instruction manual in the ‚Scan to Computer‘ option. .
When I go to the ‚Options‘ tab and click on ‚Scan a document‘ then I select ‚Scan to Computer‘. I can then see an option to ‚Scan to Computer‘ on the right hand side of the window. The window when I select ‚Scan to Computer‘ is still not.

I am on Windows 10 and have an HP LaserJet P1102W. When I try to print to my printer using the HP Software it will not print. It will print on the computer but nothing comes out on the paper. I have tried to reset the printer driver and the printer on the computer. I have also tried printing it in Chrome and Firefox. It will print nothing but the computer is still printing something. When I go to other devices on the computer nothing is coming out either. I have not tried other apps. If I put a print on the printer will it not print anything or will the computer stop printing. If I open the printer properties and go to the ‚options‘ tab it will not scan to a printer. I am also using the printer on the computer and when I right click on the printer in the printer properties to see if any are available and click on the settings it says no devices available. If I do a complete shutdown and restart of the printer I can use it again but I cannot seem to use it again when I only have to restart the computer. .
