Dr. G’s story was interesting many different reasons, but at probably the most basic degree of analysis the issue is was transparent. To everyone else, Dr. G. had everything: power, financial resources, prestige, position, and respect and admiration from individuals. Apparently, however, there was one thing that Dr .. G. didn’t have: excitement–something thrilling may possibly add zest to his life. Unfortunately, Dr. R. looked to drugs to provide the „high“ his life was lacking.
