It really started with NWA. NWA stands for „Niggers With Attitude“. Raised by very accepting and protective parents, this band’s articulation for the word „nigger“ was the first time I had heard it, as a young person. I grew up to believe racism was wrong and evil, any kind of context. In Tucson, Arizona, the racism exhibited in the Conquistadors versus everyone else had still not gone away.
